Easter in St. George

For our Easter celebration this year, we loaded up the van with all the kids and all the gear and headed to St. George. We were joined by H's brother Mike and his wife Renee and their three daughters - Pascale, Brielle and Noelle. We left first thing on Friday morning and arrived just after noon at the Ramada Inn by the Outlets. We unpacked and then headed for the pool. The kids loved it. The weather was good for the weekend and it was nice to feel the sun. Some of the highlights from the weekend included good vietnamese food with flying chopsticks from Zack, late nights, dinosaur tracks at Johnson Farm, picnic and easter egg hunt at Worthen Park, more swimming, lots of outlet shopping for me and Renee, back to the park with Cafe Rio for dinner and then a wonderful Easter morning. It was a lot of work for the moms and dads but the kids had a fabulous time!

H wrestling with Nick and Zack on the bed - one of their new favorite things to do.

Nick and Zack playing in the hotel after the pool. Nick is trying to use the phone and Zack is couch surfing with his mouth full of fishies.

Isabella with her cousins Brielle and Pascale at the Vietnamese restaurant.

We had lots of fun at the Dinosaur Tracks Museum at Johnson Farm. They have a short movie and then you get to walk through and look at the tracks. Some you can even touch. They have coloring and activities at the end. The kids loved it.

We had a picnic and Easter egg hunt at Worthin Park and the kids had a great time. We ended up spending a lot of time at this park because they have a great playset for big kids and a great one for little kids too. Zack discovered Twizzlers.

We got take out from Cafe Rio for dinner and went back to the park. Izzy loved spending time with her cousins and having Dad help out on the hard parts of the playset. Nick and Zack had a ball playing on the playset.

Easter morning we woke up to find that the Easter Bunny found us even though we weren't at home. Fun toys and lots of chocolate!

Here are Zack, Nick and Isabella in their Easter outfits. All attempts at getting a group photo failed. Oh well - Happy Easter!

The Brown Family Ballyhoo Begins!

Welcome to the Brown Family Ballyhoo - our blog. It has taken a while for me to get to this point but I am very excited (as the Brown Family blogger) to begin sharing our story. The name of our blog is the only option Isabella approved of. The word "ballyhoo" means 'to make known vigorously the positive features or a systematic effort to increase the importance or reputation of by favorable publicity'. There will be a lot of ballyhooing in our blog and if its not all positive at least it will all be real.
